The Workshop

Our Human Family creates programs and educational tools to help people advocate for racial equity, allyship, and inclusion. We know many people want to make a positive impact in this area, but are unsure where, when, or how to get involved. Allyship 101, our introductory workshop rooted in integrity, empathy, respect, and care, provides participants with a new and engaging way to view themselves, the world around them, and how they navigate their way through it.

We at Our Human Family believe people can abandon race-based biases:

• when they want to change
• when they believe change is possible, and
• when they know how to change.

Allyship 101 covers four major areas:

1. Race defined
2. The problem with racism
3. Preparing to be an ally
4. Serving as an ally
